On Wednesday 11th September 2019, Wiltshire West District will be running training for Module 13 - Growing the section. Venue: Southwick & North Bradley Scout HQ. Time 8pm to 10pm.

Skills of Management:

 

Skills of Management: this weekend course is for members who hold a Managers or Supporters role in Scouting. This includes those that line manage i.e. Group Scout Leaders, DESC or District Commissioners and those that support i.e. ADCs section.


Date: Saturday 28th / Sunday 29th September 2019
Location:
Wiltshire Scout Centre, Potterne Wick, nr Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 5QT


    

The course will start on the Saturday morning at about 09:30 and end on Sunday at approximately 15:30. All meals will be provided as will overnight accommodation. Full joining instructions will be sent out nearer the course start date. Meals included Saturday lunch and evening meal, Sunday breakfast and lunch. The fee for this course is £48, your Scout County will be invoiced; please inform your County Training Manager you will be attending.  Module 38 Skills for Residential Experience (Advance Notice)

Date: 15th, 16th and 17th of May 2020

 

Location: Wiltshire Scout Centre, Potterne Wick, nr. Devizes,  Wiltshire, SN10 5QT

 

Module 38 is for Section Leaders and supporters who may organise or support residential experiences for young people as party of their role. It provides an introduction to the skills related to running residential experiencesand linked to skills needed to gain a Nights Away Permit. The module covers Administration, Venues, Programme planning, staffing, Catering, Fire, Wellbeing Health and Safety, Equipment and Skills.
